Born out of personal frustration with native social app limitations—where finding/syncing lyrics is tedious, background music removal (often required for spiritual reasons) is unavailable, and advanced 3D parallax effects are impossible—Story2 is a local desktop application built with Tauri and Rust. Optimized for low-end hardware, Story2 offers automated lyric generation with timing sync, AI audio stem removal (isolating vocals and instruments), parallax depth effects, and visual filters.
